Meet Mosaic Hearts
Lauren West | Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
I work with clients of all ages who find themselves struggling with life’s demands and want to reevaluate what is and isn’t working. I offer both a supportive and challenging environment in which clients can process their daily stressors, express their emotions safely, practice new skills, and reflect on personal values and goals. I especially enjoy working with clients who are adjusting to new stages of life, exploring relationship dynamics, and seeking a deeper understanding of themselves.
With my background as a systems-focused therapist, much of my work includes techniques from Structural and Strategic Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. At the heart of my practice is my Catholic faith, which has taught me that no one is unlovable, beyond repair, or undeserving of mercy.

Mosaic Hearts Counseling, LLC
The name Mosaic Hearts was created with the mental image of several pieces forming a greater whole. We were each created out of a collection of those who came before us - not only in DNA, but also through multigenerational family values. The pieces of “them” coalesced into the pieces of “us.” As we learn and grow, new pieces continue to be added to the greater whole of who we are through impactful relationships and experiences. Sometimes we can get fixated on particular pieces that don’t quite fit, or feel the sharpness of edges broken by trauma and hardships, causing us to lose sight of the bigger picture of who we are or want to be. The exploration of these personal pieces in the safety of a therapeutic relationship and the transformation that can result is the hopeful intention woven through this practice.
Life doesn’t have to stop at the broken or scattered;
Bring all your pieces and Be Made New.
